Why Assista?

Assista tools are built for Odoo work, so they understand models, views, modules and Odoo versions rather than treating a project as generic code. The platform supports Odoo 11 to 20.

Odoo-aware coding

• Assista Coder looks up models and fields, searches your code and checks modules before it writes code. You review each change before you accept it.
• Code templates insert Odoo Python and XML snippets, and create models, views or whole modules from a menu.
• Module review checks a custom module and produces a quality report. It runs on your machine and uses no AI tokens.

A ready environment

Choose an Odoo version and a folder. The IDE downloads Odoo, creates a virtual environment, installs the Python packages and adds a debug configuration.

Deployment and data

• EasyInstance sets up Odoo instances in one click and shows performance, activity logs and subscriptions in one dashboard.
• Assista X answers questions about your live Odoo data in plain language, with charts and reports.

Seven things inside the IDE

Assista Coder	Writes and edits Odoo code from a plain-language request. In Chat mode it only reads and explains. In Agent mode it can edit files and run commands.
One-click environments	Downloads Odoo, creates a virtual environment, installs Python packages and adds a debug configuration.

Pricing and credits

• The IDE and the plugins are free to download. What costs money is AI usage, which is prepaid as credit, with no plan tiers and no per-seat licence.
• Free credit, such as a signup grant or credit from support, is used before credit you bought. Free credit can expire. Credit you bought does not.
• You do not need your own AI provider key. AI usage is paid from your Assista credit balance. You can also add your own provider key in Settings. Usage on that key is billed by your provider.
• Unspent purchased credit can be refunded. Spent credit cannot. See the refund policy.
• The module reviewer uses no AI tokens.

Your code and your account

• When you use Assista Coder, your prompt and the relevant code are sent to the AI model provider to produce a response. The privacy policy covers what Assista stores and for how long.
• If you forget your password, use the reset link on the sign-in page. A six-digit code is emailed to you. Resetting your password signs you out on every device.

Supported platforms and versions

• Assista IDE: Windows 10 or later (x64), macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon) and Ubuntu 20.04 or later through the Snap Store. There is no Intel macOS build.
• Odoo 11 through 20.
• Assista IDE is a full editor you install on its own, not a plugin. If you would rather stay in your current editor, start with the VS Code or PyCharm helper.
